Teaching starts with curiosity. About the practice, the people in the room and the kind of teacher you want to become.

The published training approach

Akasa has previously hosted a 200-hour Vinyasa training, combining in-person weekends with online and independent study. Its published approach includes yoga history, anatomy and physiology, practical teaching skills and the development of an individual teaching voice.

Beyond the postures

The programme description also explores inclusive teaching, conversations about the yoga industry and the practical side of establishing a yoga business. Practice teaching, feedback and written work formed part of the learning, with mentorship described after the course.

Your next step

Ask the studio about any forthcoming intake, the teaching team, entry requirements, recognition, attendance commitments and total fees. Request the current prospectus before making a decision, particularly if a qualification is important to your plans.

A note on dates

The original website’s advertised course ran from October 2023 to May 2024. Those dates and prices are historical. No new intake is represented as open here until confirmed by the studio.
